The rest of a lemon

Since I've read several people who say they only read lemons for their sexual content and it's the same if the rest is a masterpiece or mush (or if there's no rest), I would like to know your opinion.
I vote for the third :P Though sometime I do read the lemon from the beginning, but it's only when I have no big interest in it. (To make it clear...If you give me a Gallantmon/Beeelzemon I will jump to the porn immediately; if you give me a Leomon/ Renamon a nice and caring friend wrote and only because I'm nice and caring too I'm reading it, I might start from the beginning).

If I read the porn part, I'll read the whole thing, but I do prefer to know what it (being the porn) is before I even begin to read. I like having an idea of what it is before I begin.

I usually read the whole story from the beginning, but if it turns out to be a poorly written story, and I'm really just looking to whack off for the night, there's a good chance I'll skip to the lemon. Some writers manage to have mediocre stories and pretty decent lemon scenes. I think Sonimon is probably the best example. On occasion, DV85 writes some really long and interesting lemon scenes.

Really? Wow. I thought my lemon scenes sucked. Believe me, I've tried so hard to improve qualities to my works in both the lemon and non-lemon parts. I've spent the last 2-3 years rewriting everything. The problem is that I've been sidetracked with other things. Now the big thing is playing with video games. But I'm in the process of balancing that out. As in relation to the topic, I read the entire story through and through. I never just skip to the porn. It's all important to take all of a story in from beginning to end. To read it for just one part seems like a waste. In some cases though I find that stories are mainly just a prolonged sex scene with no plot or otherwise a short story with little plot and a very short sex scene.

The thing I've come to realize from nearly all noobs who write lemons is that the characters engaged in the sexual activity always seem to have an orgasm way way way too fast. In a handful of sentences from when the act begins to when they spill their cum is not realistic. That's why when I write sex scenes, I try to space out between details of the sex; ''She sucked hard swirling her tongue in a clockwise motion.'', emotional senses; ''He felt a great sense of gratitude to her for pleasing him like this as well as luck.'' and etc; ''Nothing was happening so they had all the time to continue.''

After coming in last place in the AOTM with piss poor scores it seriously turned me off from writing. I know I'm not the best but I don't consider myself to be the worst either. What I really need to do is post a lemon in the review section and have everyone look at it and comment. I worked very hard on a season 5 lemon which hasn't been posted. Now I could only wish the updates would come back on schedule. Are you working on that Wolfe?

I read them from start to finish, and then usually go back and read the lemon part again.

I always have read every lemon from the beggining, wether it starts with NC-17 material or not, I'd rather know what is what's making the characters either horny or sexually depraved. I've also noticed I can't write a story that starts with Lemon, I always have the Lemony part at the end, strange.

I'm a beginning to end reader. Unless its a yaoi lemon then I just...steer clear of it...anyway if its something like a Renamon and Guilmon lemon I'll read it front to back. Gimme a Renamon/Ranamon/Aquaveemon lemon I will probably skim through the front part and get to the sexual content *drools* I really liked a Exveemon/Renamon lemon that I read once front to back.

That is one reason why I do read the whole thing, but I also do read the short lemons with five seconds of plot just to get the sex going.

Heh. I actually do read everything even though the non-porn part is sometimes kinda boring. I read it just so that it adds to the sexual part of the story. And especially when I review peoples' lemons...then I haveto read all of it. hehe
