Digimon movie not same as series?

In 1st Digimon movie, Gatomon could digivolve to Mega but normal TV series could not.

Then in Digimon Tamers they used Trinity Blast but never used in normal TV series.

Digimon Evolution movie also different.

So, the coming Digimon Savers movie (will be shown in December 6, 2006) going to be same as the series or different? I mean, will we see something that are not seen in normal series? (We saw Renamon laughed in one of the movies)

I don't know what happen to Thoma. But if he really became traitor, will he become good again the movie?

Digimon Savers still showing but the movie is coming before it ends. So, does this mean that the series will end by then?

What will be the movie about? Digimon movies why different from normal series?

See post in Naruto topic. I hate anime movies, they're good (Sometimes) But they don't fit in anywhere. And how can to armors (even golden ones) be stronger than a giant dragon and a giant angel? Not only are they megas but they're angel megas. And since an angel champion can beat the crap out of an ultimate I'd think two mega angels would be able to kill a single mega (Even if the other mega was also an angel) with ease.

Digimon movies, and anime movies in general, are typically Out of Continuity (OOC). Movies that are OOC have the same charaters of the show, but typically they can do things that they haven't/and may never, do in the show. It's just the way it goes.

And something reagarding the power of Angemon-line: They are strong against Digimon of Darkness ( Devimon, Phantomon, Myotismon etc ) but weak against most others. Interesting Enough, female Angels are allrounders.

Yes. The first one, the omnimon one, maybe the second 02 movie, and maybe the second tamers movie are connected to the series. The rest aren't.
The new one maybe not be connected to savers, it just has burst mode in it.

The reason Seraphimon and Holydramon couldn\'t beat Cherubimon in the movie is because he kept regenerating himself. They actualy did blow him to bits (its more clear if you see it uncut, it is played so fast in the English movie that you can hardly make it out).

The movies are made by different teams of people which is why they don\'t seem to fit to well together with the series. Though there does seem to be some after-the-thought effort to put them into continuality (Such as having Miyako mention the Diablomon incedint from Our War Game when the 02 gang discuss how they first encountered Digimon). Although because they are being made at the same time as the episodes but take longer to make they often have to work with the series current assumption of what the crew working on the series thinks they will do in the future, but of course is subject to change.
