I think it would be a great addition. It could be for debates about sports, movies, people (actors, famous people, sports heroes), etc.

The debate section is supposed to be friendly anyway.
Some people get all angry though, and I know my blood boils alot, but I try to keep calm.

Yeah, but it says it's for those "interested in politics" so it didn't strike me as a place to talk about sports and what not.

I don't know.... maybe the debate section should be deleted altogether. It seems too controversial. What do you guys think?

If some people didn't go overboard in their conviction to their radical views, perhaps it'd be a little less hostile to post there. You're the admin; what do you think about how the discussions are being carried out in that forum?
