you know...I think some of these bots are also people, those that work at the company that bypass the sign up security, then let the bots do the work for them...it is possible right?

Yeah, no real need for that. I mean mods probably come to this board constantly. But really. Why the hell is this spamming happening now? I've been here for 5 years and this site has never had problems with spammers. It makes me so angry...

Its as simple as the programs themselves, not only do "spammers" have this as there territory but considering that this program is made to infest and to continue to do so, once they find a site, there friend "spammers" get the message and come along here. I think that the whole idea with the letter/number encryption program could benefit and detour some of these spammers. In 5 years a lot may occur and this tool utilized by them will only get more creative. Why not stop them in there tracks?

well you need a image thingy to identify it's not a program trying to create accounts. some boards use them.
I tried to look at the source code of the regristering page but it was implemented with classes so I don't know how to cancel the registration if the caracters that are in the image aren't entered correctly =/
