"You got it, sir! Let's get going!" The fox scientist grinned as he looked to his sister to see the exact opposite expression on her face. "Ada..."
Ada's eyes began to widen, her mystic sights giving her ill omens, not for the fight with Kubrika but of something else. "What...what is this..." It was then that her staff begun to produce a new image of its own accords, a fuzzy projection of the Sky Dragon's Island before zooming inside. The vixen gasped as she saw Mar burning into nothingness from the light of Holy before the image disappeared. "No...no...Martin...how could this have happened?" Tears rolled down her cheeks before looked towards the window, looking out at the blue skies. "My love...dragon boy..." She went to her knees, sorrow filling every fiber of her being, her tears falling like crystals against the morning light. "You can't be gone...you can't!" Ada cursed the ancient spirits of old as she looked to the floor to see her saddened reflection. "He wasn't a monster...he had a heart..."
Crimson moved beside her and gave his twin a comforting hug, hating the fact his twin was in so much pain. "Ada...I know...he kept you safe all these years...I pray he did not suffer..."
"They didn't even give him a chance..." Ada held Crimson tighter whilst she cried into his shoulder. "Truly this is a cruel existence..."
Crimson closed his eyes as his sister sob against his lab coat, thinking for a moment. We are all doomed to die, our lives hanging by a thread above the great beyond. Oh how the gods torture us, letting us fall too soon, ripping apart the tapestries of love...of families. Where has justice fled to in this day and age, where heroes are slain and villains rule the day. He looked to Ikonnen before uttering, "Sorry, but we're going to need a few minutes..." The scientist lead her out of the office, holding the vixen tight whilst she cried for her lost love.
