Shadow leaned back against her tail, murring at the softness. It was even better than a pillow. He looked deep into her eyes, gently caressing her cheek with the back of his index finger.
"Kind of odd, don't you think; a dog and a cat falling in love with each other," he purred, leaning up to lick her muzzle, his eyes still on hers.
"What drew you to me, my sweet wolf? Most people who see me automatically fear me because of my color and my personality. What did you feel when you first saw me?" he asked, rubbing the back of her head, scritching her ears.
