Why do people idolize Paris Hilton
#1
I know this is a rather pointless rant, but why do people have to idolize this women. When Paris came out with an album everyone started calling her an artist. My sister who unfortunately idolizes her, automatically said she loved her song and began saying she is a great artist. Now I have had many arguements about Paris and other celebrities with her about how she shouldn't idolize them, because they really aren't as great as she thinks. I really wouldn't mind these celebrities if they weren't idolized by so many people and are always on the news. I understand the news is a business, but when the top story of the day is when Paris Hilton is going to celibate or when photos of celeb's child sell for more than a million dollars, that is just going to far. What I wish would happen was if people would realize how pointless worshiping these people are. I know nothing will change, but it would be great if my family wouldn't always talk about celebs.

So stop going to businesses for news: go to an insitution.

People are just sheep that's it really. Why they're sheep? We don't know.

Paris Hilton angers me. She's a complete idiot, I don't care if she's rich, that doesn't mean I want to hear about her everyday!

I wanna see her sing live without lipsincing, then see if so many people still idolize her! You have my guarantee that she sounds like a bag of cats swinging against a wall.

Deep down, a large faction of young women aspire to be whores in some sense or another. That's how Paris Hilton becomes an idol.

I'm not saying that is true because I don't think it's a large faction but there is a pretty large group that does want to be something like that.

It's larger than you think. Every little girl who says she wants to grow up to be an actress, a dancer, or a singer has no idea what kind of compromises she will make along the way.

Actresses start doing nude scenes. Then they start doing porn. Then they "work outside the studio" for more money. They become whores.

Dancers become strippers. Strippers make offers to sightseers for a little extra cash. They become whores.

Singers get paraded around in skimpy outfits for their videos and concerts. Everyone just assumes that their whores (like Paris Hilton), so they become whores. They'll always be corporate whores.
