I guess this would be the place to give an update on my mirror project. It's done. As of today, the original boards were taken down, so there was no reason to continue monitoring them for updates.

I may have missed the last post or two, but I'm up to date as of about the 27th.

I still need to add the "extras", such as the front page images and tribute material (most of which is actually available inside the mirror, but I thought it'd be good to put it in its own folder). The whole thing weighs in at a hefty 3.7GB, but I'm going to prune it a bit (there's hundreds of non-working "modify" and "post" pages), and then RAR the mirror.

For the sake of visibility I'll make a new topic when I've got the torrent ready. Expect a link in the next couple of days.

EDIT: the mirrored boards infuriatingly refuse to work in Firefox, but they work fine in IE. On FF, it keeps telling me the pages don't exist. If anybody knows WTF is happening here, let me know. I'm using Offline Explorer Enterprise for mirroring if it matters.

Other then the problem with Firefox, it sounds like it should be a fantastic mirrored tool. I wish you lots of luck in completing your task and I will ask several of my friends what to do about your problem and if they know the answer, I will gladly send the information. Otherwise, I hope you find a solution.

I welcome all authors into the contest, for those who may not yet read the Author's Forum, whether you are published on the DAD or not, as long as your entry is suitable to the contest guidelines. I and the review team will not judge your story based upon whence you hail, though we may be a bit more strict about the scores we give out than reviewers you are familiar with.

For the forums I am moderator to, I will tend to move posts before considering a ban or lock, and at present my plan is that only Contest threads will be locked, and only after the contest is over. I always regretted the split of the sites, and I am happy to see that we are putting in our best efforts to be welcoming to those who left us for the DHZ in the past, or who came to the DHZ after the split and may not have known about both sites, or the conflicts we had.

Thanks, though it's not really a big deal (just annoying). I'm compressing/decompressing it right now to make sure that works, then it's going out. Expect it later today :)

Thanks for the torrent. How long can you keep it up? I need to do a reviewal for a LOT of artists.

I'll keep it up as long as necessary to get a good seed base. About 75% of the archive is available from peers other than myself right now, so I'll be uploading at full speed at least until it's all there.

I'll continue seeding after that, though I'll be throttling the bandwidth a bit. I can't use emule or download other torrents if I've got no upstream available :)

How about tomorrow? I'll have enough time all day, but first I need to do some major conversions and exports (my computer's out of disk space):

1. Porn movies (the lesbian ones, two of which have Charmane Star)
2. Animes (Digimon, Noir, Darkstalkers [repeat cause the subtitles are in Portugeuse])

*chuckles* You guys havn't heard, have you? :D The DHZ is is up and running again! Sonimon said that she lost interest in the digi hentai years ago, but ketp it running for the sake of the members their. Plus, their was a virus in the system, I heard (Wich i dont beleive) so thats why everyone kept getting test pages. Check it out!
