I am also Walter. This makes me very happy.
Why is it that everyone in that anime is British, except for the vampire that wasn't ever present in America? His voice irritates me so much. Finally, an anime with some really, really good voice acting, and they screw it up by making the lead a dark and mysterious American. Walter and Integra were fantasticly cool. England doesn't really look like that, by the way, but it isn't half stylish.

It's been a while, but he doesn't play too strong of a role in the main plot. He fights Alucard twice (as far as I can remember), and he was one of the better "people." He was able to counter most of Alucards tricks, but Alucard was more powerful in the end... of course.
That dude tossed alot of spade-shaped weapons around.... well that is my best description.
