Where can I find Digimon episodes?

Since the question comes up quite a lot around here, I thought I should put it up as a sticky so that those of you who want to watch episodes of Digimon can do so by downloading them. As they have never been released as a DVD box-set anywhere, it's perfectly legal to distribute these episodes through peer-to-peer file sharing programs! ^_^

So where do you find them, you might ask? Your first step is to download mIRC, easily obtained by visiting www.mirc.com and downloading it from there.

After you've done this, visit this URL:

Follow ALL the directions there and you'll be able to access the #DigiLegacy channel, where several users host episodes from every season, as well as the movies.

A fast internet connection, though not a requirement, is advisable and recommended.

For the most part, yes. Some users host .AVI as well as .RAW files, too.

This user uploaded a bunch episodes from the three first seasons. Most of them are the English dub, but tehre are a few Japanese subtitled tamers one.

They have some Digimon episodes in the original Japanese with subtitles. They are in good quality as well. I didn't do much with their irc channel, but the episodes I did download there where easy enough.

I am so just pissed off right now. I know we have a rant section yet since my anger has to deal with this sticky topic I felt it was best to not create a new one. Anyway, I had all episodes of seasons 2, 3 and 4 as well as most of 1 on tape. VHS that is from many years to present. I found a torrent for the entire season 1 in English nonetheless and it didn't take up a lot of space either. And with WtW subbing season 5 until it premiers in the states it would appear that I'm set.

Well no... I went to watch a season 4 tape from about 2-3 years ago off of UPN when I discovered a sticky substance in the box I keep it in. I haven't a clue what the fuck the stuff is but it ruined my tape by seeping into the top coating the black tape itself. Since then I've been trying in vain to locate torrents of seasons 2, 3 and 4 to make my life easier. Even if I have the others on tape it would be more convienent to watch them on PC since there's no commercials and the fact that I can skip whenever I please.

One torrent for season 3 says it will finish downloading in 345 days and another which was multiple torrents for season 4 episodes by someone called wpp turned out to be in Japanese with English subtitles. And as for the links on this topic itself, one only hosted the episodes with no way to download them or skip while another was invalid. Believe me, I've been searching like a madman for torrents of English seasons 2, 3 and 4.

All in all, that's why I'm so pissed right now. Even if my season 4 tape wasn't contaminated VHS is extinct by this point and since whoever the hell owns digimon now has no interest in making DVD box sets I'm pretty much going to have to remain upset. I know a lot of people around here don't like torrents but I have no real issues with them. I use BitTorrent which allows three simultaneous downloads at a time. We're all digimon fanatics on this site so does anyone know where I can find what I'm looking for? I despise chat rooms so irc is out of the question.

I need torrents or individual downloads at least. This brings me to a side note; am I the only one who thinks its odd that a digimon-related site does not in fact host the digimon episodes themselves? Yes we do involve porn on the DaD but I just felt it would be easier and maybe even make us more popular if we hosted the seasons 1 to 4 and hopefully 5 if it ever gets here. Sure it would require a lot of bandwith and a whole new site design but it's really just a thought. I doubt we'll actually ever do such a thing. But back to the topic; really, anything, even a general push in the right direction would help out. And if Wolfe is listening, did you think over what I PM'd you about? Take your time with a decision, I can wait.
