Well, this pisses me off.
I was just going through my check stubs and noticed a disturbing fact.
I was told I would make $7.70 an hour, that rate appeared on my first two checks, but ever since then (about 11 checks) the rate I was paid was only $7.50!
Now, how it took me so long to notice, I don't know, and I know my employer didn't do this on purpose, but I figured it out to be about $90 (after taxes) that I was shorted. Now that dosen't sound like much, but that is a half of my bills for the month, not including my car payement, so its a significant amount of money for me.
Anyway, I'm going to stop by my work tomorrow and show my boss, I'm not sure how he'll handle it, but I think that leagally, they owe me back pay. But most of all I just want it fixed for the future.

My job pays no where near that.....
I simple $6.00/hr at a piece of shit job.....
You could check my rant if you want to but your situation sux.....
Similar situation....
I worked 60 hours in one week at a retail store and the company did not give me any overtime for 20 hours and owes me like an extra $60. mind you they still owe me for taxi service for three days of doing inventory in newark... Like $150.....
Tried to get it back but they pretend that I didn't.....
In my opinion your lucky and GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!!

At least you guys have jobs... I've been looking, but it's hard to get a job when you live 10 miles from anywhere and have only a gas station and a school in town.

My last job paid me $13.00 per hour (as an engineer), and before that, I made $8.00 an hour (as a cashier), but I live in the most expensive state in the country.

Yeah, I've very lucky with my job. My boss is a good guy, and I have high job security because I work so hard, my boss knows that and recognizes it, so I feel quite fortunate. Anyway, I'm headed there later to figure it out, and deliever some bad news, our kitchen manager is up and leaving the state (I'll have a rant up about that soon enough).

You really should try to get your money. It sounds like you keep getting short changed and that's not right.
My last job paid me only $3/hr :cry:
Damn this country and its child labor laws! If I can write/draw porn I can damn well work! Stingy bastards, you better get that money from them too! $90 just doesn't find its way into your mailbox everyday and you are working for it, so it is legal yours. Also, it is much easier in the "fast lane"

That was bad but as long as most of y'all have time to realize that money is a continuous chess game where the advantage is on the side of the managerial staff only use you in there intent and discard you when useless... YOU BETTER GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!! Give them an ultimadum or something and say you have some interesting photos with the office secretary....(Peoples favorite) Stand up for that money which they wipe there ass with because even I could use that money....
Never be afraid of the system because they have you pinned down and manipulated anyway, I bet they won't like the feeling of being puppeted in your own way.... Do it and be effecient.....
Keep it simple stupid and all will be well.....

I could never hold down a legal job.. Never let people rip you off. The last person who tried that on me was at burger king, he wouldnt take my coupons. Now hes dead, no joke.
