I've tried all three, and I've found that boxer-briefs provide the best combination of comfort and support.

Yup. I have a perfect butt, so I wear thongs all the time, except in periods. And about the bras, I prefer the sport type (I just need them to make my breasts bounce less) and when I'm wearing sth tight, the underwired, that give a nicer shape.
