After nearly three years and a change of batteries, I finally beat my D-Tector game. I have the blue and yellow version, which for some reason, was only sold in America. Actually, I have two of them. According to the game sites, beating the game was supposed to unlock Kouichi, but it didn't. Also, none of the ancient warrior codes worked. It's possible that these changes were only made in the unified evolution D-Tectors. Can anybody with either a Takuya (red and gold) or Kouji (blue and black) unified D-Tector tell me if the ancient warrior codes work? If they do, I'll go to Toys 'R Us and buy Kouji's.

I guess the "Version 2.0" thing answers my question. Just when I thought I was done...

Ouch. That's a real kick in the pants. Is the game any good, by the way?
I never really got into any of them, but have been considering it recently.

The game is good for occupying a hand while you read or do other homework. I never actually used the belt clip feature, but if you don't mind getting teased endlessly, be my guest. The toughest part is getting a hang of the hand waving system. In general, I just have bad luck in these Rock-Paper-Scissors things. That's why it took me so long to beat.
