You know I was looking at porn when I was under 18 and no one knew but I can't support that stop the FCC thing. (Plus they never really work.)

see thats the other thing i hate. age limits, why does it always have to be 18, I really don't se how age shows what kind of person they are and if they can handle stuff like that. Also, it's only porn, now I don't like porn all that much, most of it is pretty weird, but there is some out there that still treats the human body as art, mostly drawing does that, but if it's in good taste there's nothing wrg with it.

Because not only was the US founded by the puritians, the most uptight people to come out of europe but we see 18 as a sign that you're mature to handle somethings. Plus the US is pretty religious in some places so you're not going to change anything without those areas saying something.

There's another sore spot for me! When you're 18 you're old enough to go into the service of your government and KILL, but not old enough to drink... or gamble. I guess you'd call that "military intellegence". :shock:

Another thing is that Bush and other super patriotic people go on about how many freedoms the U.S. has but yet you can't do anything until you're "mature." I've seen plenty of people older than 18 and a lot less mature than some people still in their teens. Age does not always matter when talking about maturity.

Well, if it was 21 for war and 18 for alcohol, then I guess drinking could be more deadly, if you drink it straight for those 3 years... But hey, that's why I'm never gonna vote. I ain't gonna be responsible for voting for a retard...
