I just bought "Contraband", the Velvet Revolver CD (it comes in both a red and a white cover). I'm a big STP fan, so I was looking forward to this new Scott Weiland, Slash, and company group. I've listened to the whole CD, and I'm very impressed. It rocks completely. There isn't a bad song on it. Even the slower ballads are decent ("Fall To Pieces" and "Loving The Alien"). Of all of STP's albums, I'd say it's closest to "No. 4", the hardest one, and my personal favorite. By the way, this subject is not a Velvet Revolver quote; it's a fitting STP quote.
