Sounds like a well-organized contest *sigh* I don't think I'll ever be able to write a lemon that good, but I'll have a try.

I guess I'll wait for the actual rules then

Yes, this is exactly what I had in mind. :) This gives me plenty of time too. I had two ideas, and under these guidelines, I can use either of them. At least, I think I can. Does the sex have to involve the main character(s)? If it doesn't, will points be deducted?

These are the rules -- this contest runs from now until August 15, the rules are right here. This means you can write ANY type of story you want for the contest, be it romantic, pornographic, dramatic, fantasy, dark, horror, or anything, as long as it meets the requirements above.

As far as the sex -- Well, it's generally assumed the story will be about the characters who are having sex (At least in my experience, it's far easier to write characters having sex if the story [or at least the portion of the story it occurs in] is about them than if it's about somebody else). Because of the mature of "main" characters, they're who the story is about. But no, the sex doesn't need to involve the main character(s).

Also, the Hybrid Digimon (All of them, from Pico level to Susanowomon) are exceptions to the Crossbreeding rule, along with the following:

Quote:Devimon, Vandemon, Lady Devimon, Piemon, Lucemon, Lucemon Falldown Mode, Angemon, Holy Angemon, Seraphimon, Angewomon, Ophanimon, Bastemon, Fladramon, Wizarmon/Sorcerymon/FlaWizarmon (hey, they have the same body shape), Renamon, Taomon, Sakuyamon, Dukemon, Galgomon, Beelzemon, Cherubimon

You may notice these are not all "perfectly humanoid" Digimon -- but they are close enough to meet my requirements when it comes to humans (Size and Shape are factors here, which is why I don't count some clearly humanoid Digimon like War Greymon). If you believe I missed a Digimon that is within the range, PM me about it and I will consider it. Assuming you use a fan-made Digimon in a cross-breeding situation, consider the characteristics the Digimon above have.

The JUNE CONTEST is separate from this SUMMER contest. I would like to run a monthly contest and a seasonal contest from now on, thus allowing auhthors who prefer longer stories a chance to put themselves into the runnign of my contests without rushing them.

Sorry, I have a hard time understanding things because I cannot read them closely (ironically enough I can write detailed essays and stories). Anyone wanna tell me what's up with the regulations? Just a paraphrasing and dumbening down would be good...thanks...

My bad.

Here's the shortest I can put it:

You can write any sort of story, but it needs to have well written sex, not just a good description of the mechanics.

The sex must flow within the story, but not be the driving force. Try to write it so that the sex is integral to the understanding of the events of the story. This means the sex scene cannot be "gratuitous" (put in for no value, free), because such scenes have no value to the story.

You can write about any season of Digimon, but the story can only take place after the final episode of that season. The amount of time after the end of the season in unimportant, except with Season 1.

Don't decide to write about Digimon just to be able to get away with more writing about the mechanics of the sex. If you do this, be creative with their behavior and sexual organs too, don't just copy humans.

You may not crossbreed humans with any Digimon not in the above list, but thos in that list are fair game.

I think that covers it.

Good point, there should probably be a page limit. That way, we make sure that we're delivering quality over quantity, and the judges don't have too much to go through. I suggest a 50 page limit (double spaced, size 12). At the moment, I'm on my 22nd page, and I'd like to think that I'm at least halfway done.

Well, 50 pages DS is not my ideal (that's only like 25 pages!), but I think this will work for a top limit: 35 pages Single-Spaced (70 Double-Spaced). My normal criterion is single-spaced TNR-12, because... well, double-spacing is fine for drafts and pieces sent to the editor, but for publication it all ends up single-spaced.

I timed this specifically because I know that everyone should have a fair enough amount of time -- whether they are in school, employed, or have nothing else to do -- during these summer months, at least in the USA.
