You don't suppose this crazy scheme could work, do you?

Pfff...they can probably debate this forever, based on physchology, basic human nature, bodily chemicals, whatever.

This person seems to have just thought up of a hypothesis while looking for any excuse to take down porn.

I've always had the opinion that sex and lust were natural human functions, and thus it is not at all unnatural to want porn. Of course, if you choose to repress these feelings for some moral reason, that's fine too.

It has no grounds. Everything can be addictive, literally. Eating bread can be addictive, even. Too much of anything has detrimental effects on people. It is our choice to look at pornography, just as it is our choice to play cards or even worship a religion. All things need to be in moderation for our health. I mean, this really is just like that rant topic in here about the "evils of bread." It's not looking at the whole picture, just circumstance.

well its good to know if its true, but in the end its a decision that each one makes. i dont think its that addictive or yes?

you cant force someone to stop hurting themselfs, because if they dont want to listen to you theyll hurt themself even more.

but you can force someone to stop hurting others, because if they search for someone they want something from them, they cant be that selfish to take something from another and even hurt them. and if they hurt another person you might change their decision by using violence(momently at least).
