Why the humans?

I'm just curious, but it seems that a lot of the fans of Digimon hentai that are really into the human characters rather than the Digimon, which seems a bit odd as you can get humans almost anywhere!

So for those of you that way inclined, why do you prefer mundane human Riku over cute, furry, hot, sexy Renamon? Personally I think the humans in Digimon are boring :P

Well, most of the people who watch Digimon are human. They can relate to humans better than Digimon. As far as sexual preferences go, some people want to fuck animals, and that's your choice, but you'd better understand that you're the minority, even among hentai fans. It's just not in our biology. The people who can get off on the human children fooling around are also clearly not normal, but we have better reasons. For us, it may be a propensity for child pornography, an anime fetish, or in my case, my belief that I am a legendary warrior, in spirit. My soul is stuck at age twelve. I never grew up. I've never done any of those hentai acts. I'm innocent, so I want something that matches my own innocence. At the same time, I also believe that I am as close to being a superhero as one can be in civilized society.

Personally I think the humans in Digimon are boring

Okay, some of them are boring. Most hentai fans care more about appearance than personality. I'm an exception to that one. It's good to see another.

well I rather like the humans (yolie mostly) but the human looking digimon like angewomon or lillymon aren't bad (like ranamon)
so mostly it's just cause I like humans and humanoid looking digimon more (except for small amounts of renamon and a few others)

I think the Digimon makes more fun, coz somehow it is more difference between them and I can see humans everywhere. There are enough at the world.

I agree, I think Digimon are more interesting by far.

But for those that prefer the guys/girls, is there any particular reason you prefer the digimon characters over characters in other cartoons? Or is Digimon just one of a plethora of human specimens you like :)

Personally, I'm drawn to their scenario, particularly season 1 and season 4, the stranded seasons. They're destined to be the heroes for a world that hasn't been corrupted by modern society. They are the innocence of youth, and they band together to keep the ideal. While there, they make friendships, and we can only assume, romances.

I have to like the characters, really. And I wound up liking the humans better than the Digimon themselves, for the most part. Not that I wouldn't like to see some nice Arukenimon/Mummymon, but I'd like to see Hiroki/Yukio even more...
