What's All this Shit Going on in Congress?

yep yep. i mean, the whole "moral society" thing is the reaon we have so many problem with the youth of this country. they sit there and "protect" children from EVERYTHING so now they have ZERO COPING SKILLS!!!!

personally, it goes against everything i stand for to shield the "innocent" from being exposed to anything. i believe that people should learn to make informed choices from a young age. if you teach children about things when they're younger, they'll grow up with a better understanding of things and most likely cease the unhealthy compulsive behaviors in which they partake far too often. i believe in an ethical society in which people are well informed and well-equiped to deal with things however they feel fit, whether than being taught the moral way of doing things.

I am actually a victim here. My father has always tried to protect me from the outside world and shelter me, but in the end, he ended up failing. While it is true that I don't know half as much as I'd like to, I still know enough to fit in with those who were never sheltered at all.

For my 15th birthday, I got an Emiem CD. After my friends left, my father bitched at me about having friends who support Emiem (because my father hates people who speak thier mind when they complain and bitch about life's issues. OMG, what a hipocrite) My father took the CD and cracked it over his knee saying "My son will NOT be subjected to this corruption".

That's only one of the thousands of things he's done to me in the past... =P

I think that more gay couples is a good thing because the world will become overpopulated one day and we need to prevent that. To me, it seems like banning gay marrage is a downward spiral. First, gay people can't marry, then the world overpopulates, then the controlling government sterilizes people and then we have another issue with preventing the weaker humans from having kids and the stronger and smarter ones get to have the rights.

Actually, that's not a bad idea... for you darwinists out there (and I'm not critisizing you either) It will be an unnatural selection. We won't have to worry about overpopulation in our life time. But I think if we don't draw the line somewhere, one day it may be too late.

And what happens to things that get affected by black holes? We have yet to find out.
