The world in general had a shitty year: Wars, earthquakes, terrorism... My personal one wasn't too good either.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think hope/hapiness is staring at me from either the bottom of a bottle of Jack Daniels (sp?), or from the bottom of an aspirin bottle. So...why not take both?

*dumps the contents of the aspirin bottle into the bottle of Jack Daniels*

Well my new years consisted pretty much of eating string cheese straight from the can and watching South Park drunk off my ass on rum and Jose Ceurvo.

I recognize all time as one continuous stream, if anything at all. The calendar we officially use is just another Catholic invention. Anyway, 2003 had much unhappiness and joy. There is balance all the time. 2004 will have just as much of each side. We all have things to look forward to and things to dread.
