Can a Divine Wrath be used against Prime Material Dragon that also has a negate and destroy effect?

Ok, here's the scenario.

My friend uses Barrel Dragon's 2-3 heads effect to destroy one of my monsters on the field.

I discard to use Prime Material Dragon's effect to negate and destroy Barrel Dragon.

He activated Divine Wrath to target my dragon for destruction.

I discarded again to negate and destroy it.

Despite the chain, Barrel dragon would still be destroyed right? Would Prime Material Dragon be destroyed too or just one of them? Bit confused here x.x'

Divine Wrath would negate and destroy Prime Material Dragon. Prime Material Dragon's effect is a Spell Speed 2, whereas Counter Traps (including Divine Wrath) are Spell Speed 3. The only thing that can be chained to a Counter Trap/Spell Speed 3 is another Counter Trap. So Divine Wrath would go through, negating and destroying PMD, and Barrel Dragon's effect would go through if the target was still there.
