I guess so, yeah. I still believe that it's pretty horrible though...I'm one of those who started becoming disinterested in the new seasons of Digimon and all, but I'm still keeping a nice memory of the first and second ones from my childhood. Even though this site is soooooo good at raping my childhood memories, somehow. XD

Anyway, I've already met a few peeps on here around two years ago that were on here not because of Digimon exactly, but because of the nice people hanging around. That's something cool around of here; most anyone can join, even if only a bit interested in Digimon, since there IS topics unrelated to them and such.

Hey, we're lucky to still be here since most sites went down. There's only a few that are names in the field. And one which is The Big Name.

If the site were to change to include more than Digimon, and it were to be considered more of a fan community, might that help? Long ago I had plans to do something similar, totally expand the site, and make it self-sufficient, like FurAffinity, for example, but it fell through because I lack skills in modern programming. Way back when, I had decent HTML skills, which was why I was able to keep this place running--it's HTML-based and the forum has a bit of a GUI for management. However, HTML is all but obsolete and I do not possess the knowledge of things like Ruby and php and HTML5 and similar programming languages that could really turn this place around.

There are other places to talk about non Digimon stuff, is not like Digimon is "dead" like it was after Frontier. We have a Digimon season going, a manga, and new videogames. Sure is okay if you want to talk about non Digimon stuff, but don't fix what ain't broken...

And changing the site won't mean new people will join soon, the internet is way big than when Digimon first aired in Japan and those fans of other stuff already have their places to hang around.

The most active part of the forum besides Digimon, used to be the roleplaying part, but is been dry for months, I think that part of the site does need some clean up and restructuring. No need for so many subforums if they are only five guys role-playing at most.

Honestly, besides the spam, I like the site the way it is, but moving "Anime-tion" and
"Video Game Central" under "Digimon Chat" won't hurt. I think "Anime-tion" should be changed to the more generic "Anime and Manga". Those changes won't be that big and would be kind of easy to do.
Still here even if the site and the forum are kind of dead!

Digimon may still be running but it's not nearly what it once was. There aren't as many fans, especially on the I-net. Of course, we could still keep the Digimon stuff and just make it a general fansite.

I dunno. All this stuff was running around my head back then too. Would be nice to keep this place Digimon but I don't think it's doing anything for the site's traffic.

There are still a lot of fans, just a lot less places for Digimon fans to hang around. Sure Digimon is not as big as it was with Tamers, but so what? Pokemon is not as big as it was in 2000, and it still has fans and that.

Besides a lot of sites have lot less traffic because of the economical crisis, not just this one. I have seen really popular sites get haft of the traffic they used to have just a year ago, despite the constant amount of new content both official and fan made.

The fact that Xross Wars had executive meddling to make a new season, shows that Digimon is becoming popular again. Heck, Hunters is being aired subbed by an online company.

Any changes you want to make to the site are okay as long as Digimon keeps being the number one. The most active members of this forum are here for roleplaying or Digimon. And they are a LOT of generic anime places, but sites dedicated to Digimon? There are a lot less nowadays.

Hunters is going to get alternate versions of Taichi and Takato (And the other not so popular guys) so maybe that will make this place get more traffic.
Still here even if the site and the forum are kind of dead!

I do like saying how this is one of the only sites for Digimon left. And not just normal, we also have porn. So that's something.
