And I dunno about Fluttershy. She seems to be really popular, but in the pilot ep all I saw was an extremely socially challenged pony. Can't go wrong with shy and big breasted though. *Still thinks the whole show is about disproportionatelly large mammaries and anthro ponies attached to them*

Twilight Sparkle was one of the most obnoxious protagonists ever. Was she made so watchers can identify themselves with her? I mean, what I watched presented her as an individual who's been living under the proverbial rock all her life and is now being lectured on what she already knows so we all are like: "Oh, so that's how it is."; I suppose she is to be nurtured with the world's knowledge throughout the series, learning from all her cleverly designed, personality-differentiated girl friends, right? Hm, nope. Can't say I've seen something like this before. /sarcasm

But I can't forget what this show is initially aimed at, audience wise. I identified myself with MegaMan, so I guess this generation can identify themselves with an obnoxious pony nerd.

Oh, for the record. Rainbow Dash is into women.
