The best of 2010 (in my opinion):
Best rock album:
Stone Temple Pilots - Stone Temple Pilots
The sound is distinctive and really sets a mood, probably STP's second best album, which is impressive considering they just reunited after eight years apart.
Best rock song:
Disturbed - Crucified
This is quite possibly the best Disturbed song yet, both lyrically and musically. It's good to see they recovered from 2008's ironically titled "Indestructible."
Best pop song:
Adam Lambert - Whataya Want from Me
I'm not normally one for pop music, and I wouldn't say I love this song, but damn is it addictive.
Best movie:
Kick-Ass
It has everything: heroics, violence, romance, comedy, a feel-good ending... There was not a more entertaining movie this year.
