Caught between a sword and Fate

Before Shadow could keep moving anywhere, he dashed towards him, "Express Claw!" he shouted, the voice of a child only came out, the Flamedramon slashed across Shadow's chest and leapt away from him after the blow was dealt.

Shadow brought his arms up to block just in time to avoid a blow to anything vital, the attack still threw him back a few feet from the impact. He landed on the ground rolling a bit as he looked up at the Flamedramon, Damnit, I shoulnd'tve trusted him.

Suddenly- the ground started shaking and several rock-vines shot out and started rapidly snaking around Flamedramon's arms, legs and torso- they pinned him to the ground- and held him there. The stone was solid, fire proof- and a faint trace of green aura still emanated from it.

Gun lowered his hands, panting. He had used magic- and he wasn't even good at it- the result had him drained. "F-Fen- help- that man and the cat- calm the monster... do..wn..." he said as he collapsed.

Fenriol caught him just before he hit the ground. "Dad!" he tried to wake Gun up. Instead, he left him under somewhere he knew was safe- and tended to Slash, Renodramon and Shadow. He would try to calm Flamedramon down- perhaps he'll revert back- otherwise- he'll have to help destroy him, for Gun's sake.

Flamedramon, being held down, didn't pose much of a threat, he still was growling, like anxious to finish off all who were fighting.

Renodramon once again woke up from unconciousness, "Oww... my head... what happened?"

"You got in my way, that's what happened." Shadow said as he walked towards Slashmon, using his katana as a makeshift crutch, "Slash, you okay?" He said as he nudged his partner slightly.

"Mmmm, five more minutes..." Slash said as he rolled over.

Shadow smiled a bit in relief, he was fine.

"Uhm..." Renodramon lowered his ears as he looked up on Shadow, "I'm sorry..."

Flamedramon's body caught fire, he tried to Fire Rocket away, but only managed to send some flames to the ground below him, he was growling madly, like if he was Berserk.

Shadow didn't say anything as he stood up, looking over at the Flamedramon as he continued struggling, "So if this Mar like you say he is then what do we do with him?"

"Isn't there a way to calm him down? He'll end breaking those rocks." Reno said.

Flamedramon struggled harder, indeed, the rocks were losing the stamina and were slowly breaking apart.

"I could knock him unconcious. That'd calm him down quite a bit." Shadow said as he cracked his knuckles.

[DragonMasterX]

"But you already tried to!" Reno squealed, "You only made him angrier!"

Flamedramon growled, the binds to his legs starting to crack louder.
