The Town of Toren

The town of Toren. Mainly human populated however there are a few digimon, anthros, etc. living among them. Rumors of disguised demons, vampires, werewolves and other creatures are said to exist there also, but many keep a low profile. The occasional mysterious/supernatural murder and/or rape. Besides the rumors of demonic forces and magical energies wafting through the streets. At the edge of the town is a large mansion, it keeps it's doors and windows locked tight with special barriers and spells. Its lights never are turned on giving the whole place the feeling of abandonment.

One night a feeling of dread spread through the town as its residents slept. However each and every person had a dreamless slumber. When the residents awoke nearly everyone vanished. Only a few people remained left to their own confusion and thoughts. Thick fog surrounds the borders of the town. If someone tries to walk out of town and into the blinding fog they find themselves walking right back into town. The town has become a prison leaving its residents trapped. Two other things. Since this all happened a mysterious girl has been seen around town, giggling and vanishing as soon as she is seen. Also strange music has been heard playing inside the mansion, and none of them pleasant.

Description: He is rather tall for his age and lean. Despite this he is quiet strong and flexible. He has semi long black hair and green eyes. He wears a pair of black glasses and usually wears a black t-shirt, black bracelets, black sneakers and black jeans

Personality: He is a genius, literally. He posses an IQ of 190. Although he is only 16 he has already established himself as an accomplished inventor, repair man, etc. because of his intelligence and abilities. He is usually secluded and does not communicate well with others. He tends to find the negative things in a person. His emotions are relatively unstable.

Powers: He is known as a "Technopath". Technopaths have the ability to control mechanical devices. He also has the ability to "read minds". It isn't mind reading exactly but he can pick up on the subtlest body language, difference in a person's scent, rate of heart beat etc. to tell exactly what someone is thinking subconsciously. He also has the ability to remember nearly everything he comes across, the memories from when he was a baby are perfectly in tact, he can spot the physical weaknesses and strengths of everyone.

Bio: He had a relatively normal childhood growing up. He was a happy-go-lucky child while at the same time being a genius. He was at the top of all his classes, he even skipped a few grades. However that was before the incident. At the age of 14 his house was broken into and his parents were killed. He would have been also if he hadn't lost control of his rage. Using his abilities he killed the murderer. In the process his house was also turned to ruble. Fearing what would happen to him he fled. At age 15 he began inventing creating advanced and useful technologies. He made enough money to buy his own house (he was living in an apartment) in Toren and enough to go back to school. He just moved back into his rather large house yesterday.

Description: In his human form he is about 5'8" and has rather pale skin. His eyes are a stunningly vivid blue reveling that he is magically gifted, his hair is a jet black color and falls just over his eyes. In his dragon form he stand at 6' and is covered in vivid blue scales, his eyes change from blue to red. His black hair is still present however it becomes more spiked and falls further down. In place of his fingernails are small black claws and his feet turn into the dragon version of paws and the claws are longer than the ones on his hands. His blue tail is almost as long as he is tall.
He wears special pants and shirts that form holes where his tail and wings are when he transforms into a dragon and repairs themselves when he changes back into a human. He doesn't wear shoes since they are harder to enchant than clothes, instead he wears bandages that go half way up his leg and stop just before his toes. He has similar bandages on his forearms.

Personality: He is sarcastic, humorous, friendly, outgoing, and thoughtful. He usually makes friends quickly but he can be a bit strange scaring some people off. Most of the time he likes to be alone however. He hates hurting others and tries to avoid it.

Powers: Besides the abilities a dragon usually gets (Fire breathing, flying, sharp claws etc.) he can shape shift from his human and dragon forms and has an increase sensitivity to magical energies and can control them exceptionally well. Because of his dragon half he can see in the dark and has a highly evolved sense of smell and hearing, even when human. His body can withstand temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius and 212 degrees fahrenheit when human and three times that when a dragon. His scales are resistant to physical attacks and offer some protection. He is skilled at double sword (holding one sword in each hand) combat.

Bio: He has always known that he was human/dragon hybrid since, well, his father is a dragon anthro and his mother is human, not hard to figure out. He went through a human life as anyone would, however with more success than others. He has lived in Toren all his life and knows the school inside and out. He often likes to soar over town looking at people going on with their daily business.

A young human stood in his house. The sun had just set, he was ready for bed. Sighing he got into bed pulling the covers over him and instantly fell asleep, a dreamless sleep awaited him...

Mark yawned and sat up rubbing his eyes. Sunlight shown through the window and reflected perfectly to shine on the teen's sleeping head. Groggily he reached out and grabbed his glasses slipping them on. Grunting the human jumped out of bed slipping on pants, a shirt, socks and shoes. Scratch his side Mark made his way through the house and out the front door to find...

Nothing, no-one was outside, at all. This time yesterday mobs of people walked the streets. You could hardly avoid bumping into people. So where was everyone?
