The Bloodbinding. One of the oldest of the Old Magicks. The first Bloodbinding was between an Archmage and a master vampire, causing one to draw unimaginable power from the other, and vice versa. A bloodbinding can be between any magically-inclined human (called The Mage) and any magic non-human being (usually called The Source, or, more offensively, The Beast), usually a being that the human is friendly towards, and possesses traits the human desires.
The Bloodbinding is unique to each pairing and is irreversable, but as long as both of the two are still alive, they are, for all intents and purposes, ageless. They can still be killed, through injury, poison and so on, unless their powers dictate otherwise.
Also, any magic The Mage has is shared with The Source, and any traits and powers The Source has is likewise exchanged with The Mage.

Description: Lean and well-muscled, Dominic stands about 6'3", and about 145 pounds. His dark gray, almost black hair is cut short in not quite a crew cut. Wears a silver collar with a tiny padlock and a key on a chain around his neck. Dresses in slacks and tanktop shirts. Clothes that are cheap and easy to replace. His eyes are yellow, and a bit eerie if stared at too long. His nails and teeth are unusually long and very sharp though. His penis is also above average, being 8 inches long and 2 inches thick, fully erect.

The pungent scent of car exhaust. It was the first thing Dominic smelt every time he woke. It was a disgusting by-product of the human's Industrial Revolution. Pah, he thought. Technology would never replace magic completely. Their were still so many things magic could do that machines and computers couldn't.
Of course, Dominic thought as he put his pants on, I have no magic of my own, so who am I to think that? He went downstairs to the kitchen and prepared to brew a pot of coffee. He sat by the phone and waited. He was a literal 'Jack-of-all-Trades'. People would call and hire him to do just about anything, because he could do it faster and cheaper than a professional, and even better on occasion.

- Shapeshift - the ability to change from from seemingly human to animal-man hybrid or even a full-bore animal. Elder werebeasts like Dominic can isolate their shifting to specific parts of their body, like their hands or jaws.
- Silverblood - Highly resistant to most forms of injury, and recovers within minutes, even from seemingly lethal wounds. Silver, the artificial compound Silver Nitrate, and wounds caused by other werebeasts seem to be the only known ways of counteracting this ability. Werebeasts use this to their advantage, usually wearing silver jewelry or collars to contain their were forms.
- Agelessness - a Side-Effect of Silverblood, werebeasts seem to show no negative effects of aging. In some cases it seems they don't age at all.
- Were-plasma - Any werebeast can use their blood to heal the wounds of another, even if wounded in human form.
- Therianthropy - A werebeast can infect a human being with his condition if he bites or claws them while in hybrid or animal form.
- Beastial Senses - The five senses of a werebeast are vastly more accute than that of a normal human. Specifically those of hearing and sight.
- Animal Conditioning - Werebeasts possess unnatural strength, capable of lifting many times their own body weight with little effort.
- Full Moon Frenzy - Werebeasts lose all traces of humanity during the three nights of the full moon. For safety, werebeasts usually chain themselves up during those three nights.
- Bloodlust - Werebeasts crave the taste of raw meat and blood.
- Animal Brotherhood - Werebeasts can call to and communicate with natural members of their own species. (werewolves with ordinary wolves, for example)
