To Lord, about Digimon and food (again)

Lord, I understand now. Human in season 3 Digital World don't need to eat.

When I write a lemon, can I write something like this:
"Tai, Matt and Sora entered the Digital World. Later, they found something to eat?"

I mean, if human don't need to eat, is this a plot hole/illogical in the lemon?

Or is it only in season 3 human don't need foods, but they still need foods in season 1 and 2?
