Chapter 2
"See, I got AFDS from my mate, allegedly, and the people i work with at the Dragon Tower are afraid that it's communicable,
like the human's common cold." Redmon explained.
"They shouldn't be dong that. That's against the law of Digimon." Gatomon said, putting her folders on the table.
"Right," Redmon said, sliding Gatomon a brochure from the AFDS clinic. "I got this brochure that proves that AFDS isn't as
communicable as my co-workers feared."
"Don't you worry, i will fight for you." Gatomon said putting on her reading glasses and started reading brochure.
"Thanks." Redmon said, coughing a bit.
"What's the name of your mate? Sorry, gotten ask these questions." Gatomon said, looking at him.
"Icegatmon, his fractal code ID is 476-83-09805." Redmon told her.
"Thanks." said Gatomon writing it down. "I will need the name of the digimon who fired you."
"Impmon, 535-84-74666." Redmon said.
"And i got the reason why you want to fire a law suit on them." Gatomon told him, still writing. "Is there anything else i should
know?"
"He was elected Employee of the Month right after he fired me. And when I cleaned out my desk and left, I heard this raucous
cheer behind me, as if they only wanted to see me go..." Redmon cried.
"There, there, i'll make sure this is a court matter but it will take about three times for that to happen." Gatomon explained.
"I don't know if I have enough time for that..." Redmon said, with a sad look in his eyes. "Also, my boss grabbed and dragged
me around the building." Redmon said sliding Gatomon his medical records and the prognosis sheet from the clinic.
"Does your mate know that you have AFDS?" Gatomon said, looking over the medical records and the prognosis sheet from
the clinic.
"No, he doesn't. In fact, the head doctor, a Renamon, says I got AFDS from him." Redmon told her.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Gatomon replied. "But I won't judge you on that. If you love someone that much then be with that
digimon."
"Thanks," Redmon said sliding Gatomon his records from his job. "Keep one thing in mind as you look at." he points to job
records. "That, my replacement can't do shit compared to me..."
"Wow, you have done very good work there." Gatomon told him, looking at the job records.
"Yeah, and they fired me because of" he points at records from clinic. "this. If you had AFDS, would your superior fire you?"
"They shouldn't be doing that. The only way to get around it is to lie." said Gatomon.
"Right, now you see my point, Gatomon. I was the best manager in that building and they replaced me with a Megidramon
who couldn't even stay outta his own damn way!" Redmon told her.
"Yeah, i can't let them do that to you." Gatomon said.
"Thank you. I mean, this guy's a clumsy ox. His first day on the job was my last, and you know how Megidramons have this
huge-ass tail, right?" Redmon told her.
"Yes, i know." Gatomon said.
"Well, this Megidramon couldn't've had its legs for very long, 'cuz there was this huge stack of boxes, a Nefertimon co-worker
got his attention, he looks at the Nefertimon and WHAMMO!!! His tail turns into a hockey stick, boxes flyin' everywhere, and
I said to my boss, "At least I'm not that clumsy." Care to guess his reply?" Redmon questioned.
"I'm not good at guesing but tell me." Gatomon replied.
"At least he doesn't fuck with males, like SOME Digimon..." I almost punched him from the 40th floor, where we were, all the
way to the lobby, through the floor, I mean, that was the lowest thing anyone's ever said to me.." said Redmon.
"He shouldn't say that to you. I mean Digimon are allowed to fall in love." Gatomon explained.
"Yeah, and worst was, he embarrassed me in front of everybody, especially this Guilmon friend of mine I'd known since we
were in Primary Village..." Redmon said, his voice shaking.
"Did this Guilmon knew you liked males?" Gatomon asked.
"Nope, he and I were just very close friends, as close as two Digimon can be without love and/or sex being involved, let's just
say that... At least not before..." Redmon cut himself and reememberd the day he got fired.
~~Flashback~~
Redmon was in his desk as a few digimon passed him while he on phone, writing. "Yes... Yes... yes, we have that...
Mm-hmm... Good-bye. Redmon said on the phone, then he hangs up and goes over notes.
"Redmon." said an Impmon walking over to Redmon's desk.
"Ah, hi, Impmon," Redmon told him, handing Impmon the paper. "got another order for..."
"You didn't sent Sola that Tula report." Impmon said looking at him.
"Huh? Sure, I did, I marked it on my calendar," *Redmon replied, pointing to September 9 on his desk calendar* right here,
September 9th, "Send Tula report to Sola."
"She called and said she didn't get it. I'm disapointed at this." Impmon said.
"When?! I mailed it on time!" Redmon said in anager, knowing he sent it on time.
"I'm sorry but your fired." Impmon told him.
"WHAT?! NO WAY!!!" Redmon yelled at him.
"Pack your stuff and get out. We have someone to replace you." Impmon explained.
"What? Who?" Redmon asked, shuting off his computer and starts packing.
"An Megidramon." Impmon replied. We could hear the ground moving as a Megidramon staggers in trying to get in. He falls
down on the ground and trys to get up.
"Damn! How do you bi-pedal Digis get used to these things?" Megidramon asked. Redmon looked at Impmon with an "Are
you cazy?" look on his face.
"And a "top o' the mornin'" ta you, too." Megidramon said to Impmon and Redmon. "Where's my cubicle?"
"This one." said Impmon pointing to Redmon's cubicle. Redmon was getting angry at Impmon while the Megidramon walks
towards Red's cubicle, passing Neferti and the boxe.
""Watch it." said Nefertmon passing since Megidramon was in the way getting back to work..
"Huh?" Megidramon said looking at Nefertimon, taking the boxes out with one swipe of his tail.
"At least I'm not that clumsy." Redmon said to Impmon.
"At least he doesn't fuck with men, like SOME Digimon..." Impmon said making sure everyone heard it.
"I ain't goin' there!" Megidramon said, starts picking up the boxes.
"What?!!!!" Redmon yelled not knowing how he knew that.
"Huh?" Redmon's Guilmon friend asked looking up from his cubicle as a mortified Redmon stares at Impmon.
"That's right, Guilmon." Impmon said. ""He likes males."
~End of Flashback~~
"It was terrible, that Impmon crucified me in front of everyone... It's a good this the AFDS clinic I live in now is free, otherwise
I'd be in deep shit.... I took some pills before i came here relax." explained Redmon.
"Don't worry, Redmon. I'll make sure he pays for this." said Gatomon.
"I hope so..." Redmon said coughing a bit.
"Anyways, thanks for seeing me." Gatomon told him holding out her hand. He starts to shake her hand and then sloly gets out
of the chair.
"Thank you for hearing my case. If you want to know how's things are at Dragon Tower now, just ask that Megidramon."
Redmon said headed towards the door.
