Opportunities are good. People, often not. I act the way I do, because so many people around me are blind, sunny idiots who could do with a heavy dose of reality and a rehab center. I don't want to know them or be like them.
I'm a very positive person when that positivity is based in truth, and a negative person when negativity is based in truth. I know that people die without ever having met a good spouse, and so the statement "Everyone will [eventually find someone]." obviously rings false.
