Never ever bring the sub v. dub debate before me, because I like BOTH. Each has its own strong points, and I don't like to be forced to choose. That's why I was GLAD to hear Naruto was being dubbed and I immediately researched the group. ShoPro Entertainment is literally a division of a Japanese company, which increases the reliability and accuracy of the dubs somewhat. I don't have the money to buy DVDs right now, nor to consistently backup downloaded AVIs. So, that I'll get past Episode 30 of Naruto in the Dub, probably before I have space to download the Sub, makes little difference if the dub is good. I have come to hate companies that butcher series, like 4Kids (Oh, One Piece, may the thought of you being dubbed well rest in peace) and Nelvana.
English voice acting can be just as good as the Japanese, just look at Disney movies and the old cartoons and you can see what I mean. Sure, some characters get horrible voices, but that's part of the risk of translating a series. And thus far, Naruto looks good.
