Melody would seem to come close to panic when he took her hand, her eyes widening as she let slip a nervous whimper from her normally silently lips. She would then follow him around and do whatever he asked or suggested, since that was her lot in life, or so she thought. When he suggested the pool she looked at it and shuddered uncomfortably. But if he insisted, she would get in, even take her hospital gown off and reveal her naked body entirely as she got into the water or waited for a bathing suit if he went to get one.

Either way, Melody only nodded when he told her he was here to protect her, the words clearly not reaching past her traumatized mind. One could barely imagine what a person like Dark Spell would put such a girl through, and it had clearly left its mark.
