The fault is the one who translated Tailmon into Gatomon's. In Spanish, gato is a male cat, though just like in English, male is the default gender, so if you see a cat you don't know you'll say' gato'. For female, it's 'gata'.
Oh, and I never saw Devimon and LadyDevimon together. It's just that in the Spanish dub, Devimon has a really velvety voice, very deep and manly (and beautiful to boot) but he sounds rather queerish. Maybe it's just my imagination. And why did he want to possess Leomon all the fucking time? Made me wonder.
