Biggest surprise/dissapointment.

Halo 3 It just didn't live up to the hype and not even the online play is that good. In order to play all of the online game modes you have to buy all the other maps! If you don't you're stuck playing Social Team Slayer and Rumble matches which gets really boring really fast. I actually had more fun and challenge playing campaign mode.

Halo 3 moved very quickly because of it's fanbase...ideally you should've been there a couple of years back, nowadays the fans wanted to play the new maps more so they integrated them into the most popular game lobbies. Also, the Halo 3 multiplayer is pretty crap...barable but crap.

Hopefully Halo Reach will have a better multiplayer, but until then you could always do campaign, forge or custom games.
