Ah. I used to use this part of the forum very often. In fact, I have many rants floating around my head daily.
Anyway, my mother is a real bitch as well, and is two-faced as well....thank god she doesn't drink, I suppose.
What works for me is just what Guilmon said. Ignore her, and seeing as I know that is unlikely to work, I'm afraid you'll need to weather through it.
Oh, maybe it would be possible to avoid them unless it is necessary to actually be around them? That's what I do with my parents.
