the ancients and the spirits are a conundrum
the ancient digimon are the legendary warriors who saved teh digiworld
but the spirits are the ones that everyone knows about
...as far as it can be told from the history given in frontier...the spirits have never been used/seen before
and even more interesting is the fact that the h/b spirits appeared to have been split from the ancient digimon....but through the cardgame (which shows every possible evolutionary line) there is NO way to get the h/b spirits to evolve into the ancient digimon
