Solia recalled the ambush my the assassin in black robes with the scythe. "Yeah, I remember. You defeated that one guy dressed in the black robes and then before we could finish him off, the lady with the disembodied voice cast that warp spell on him. You think that was who did it?"

A black-jack dealer wavered them over now. "How about a nice game of 21 my friends?" he asked.

Ardeal shrugged his shoulders. "Wanna give it a go?" he asked Mika.

"You arrogant son of a bitch!" Skye yelled. "Vance!"

Vance placed the curve of his scythe right up against Quarry's neck. "Move and this man's head will roll."

The man turned. "You were the one my daughter and her friends beat up weren't you?"

Vance fumed and pulled the blade closer to Quarry's neck.

"Don't get hasty," he laughed. Then, he disappeared and reappeared behind Vance, knocking him aside like a piece of garbage.
