(Bridge of Beginnings)

Solia and Faiz reached the bridge in a matter of minutes. The bridge was made of stone, but had a polished wooden walkway. The stones had been painted a deep red, the color of passion, and on two pedestals at the front of the bridge, sat two, intricately-sculpted gargoyles, gazing peacefully over the town, their stone expressions never changing. Solia ran over to the stone wall and sat down on it so she could see the calm river, slowly surging down below. She patted the spot next to her. "Come sit with me, Faiz," she said. "You can see the river perfectly from here."

Ardeal blushed, but enjoyed the kiss, and when Mika broke it, he reached his hands around the back of her head and kissed her, even more passionately than she had kissed him. When he broke the kiss, he said, "I've waited a long time for love to finally find me." He smiled at her. "And now it finally has. I love you Mika."
