Who goes There? [(the Thing game)]
#1
For basic info..

Game-play:

This Game will closely follow after the movie, and somewhat like the video game.

The Thing is an alien creature that mimics another being. It mimics imperfectly, therefore, it must absorb the entity it wishes to mimic in order to adapt. The alien has no definite form, but one thing is certain: It can be one of you. Guns do not kill it, but they can weaken it. Fire is the only way to stop it.

There are no set in stone symptons, other than psychological. In other words, if someone isn't acting a certain way, he may be infected. Individuals should be cautios, as this thing can spread through the smallest of contact.

PLOT:

After successfully blowing the damn alien to kingdom come, MacReady knew his time was up. It was only a matter of time before the Frozen wasteland took his life. Though, MacReady didn't care. He had nothing to lose. Besides him, the only survivor was Childs. It was game over for the both of them...

Or so they thought...

48 hours before the destruction of the camp, a mayday was sent to any nearby camps for assistance. The call went unanswered for those few days. Now, a security team was sent to investigate the destroyed camp.

several hours later

MacReady was brought back to the base, along with his now deceased partner, Childs. He is currently in the Med-lab, recieving medical treatment for the severe frostbite wounds he had. Accompanying him are several remains of the dead creature, which the security force brought in to inspect.

but... it's not dead...

And so begins man-kinds fight for survival against the deadly mimic.
