maybe you have lack of ram memory .
look for all the programs next to the computer watch
if theres to many try this
execute msconfig and unselect all the programs that you dont want your pc to boot with (the important programs auto select themself after), its better than closing them after with alt+control+del.
to see how many ram memory you have to check start -program - accesories - system tools - system info. there it will say how many resources of your pc are available %.
using msconfig will make the computer start much better and faster the max available resources i got before using msconfig was 79% and after i got 90%.
