16. A friend and a book. This was when I awakened to being a furry. I awoke having reached my mental maturity, but it was largely non-sexual at that time. My only sexual fetishes until I was 18 were mind control and some MC-related BDSM themes.
I did not fully awaken to my sexual tastes until 18. I read porn fics before then, and I looked at hentai and free porn online. The first story I read was a MC story titled 'Hypnotized Submissives', and I read several others. Once I was 18, I stopped confining myself from expressing my feelings and began to write lemons. So far every sexual story I've written was a lemon, though I've begun a few that were simply porn fics (the difference is anime/manga v. original non-anime/manga environs).
