It's pretty well written. You've got a lot of strong imagery. I especially liked the fist-sized hole. Military stuff just isn't my thing though, which is ironic, considering my occupation.
Shame on you, Marine. You should love a story like this one. It's pretty much all you write. I guess you were too busy changing your screen name to avoid confusion with the John Cena movie.
