Vance shook his head, a light-hearted smile on his face despite the circumstances. "Eh, should know by now that I don't have to worry about the likes of you," he said before backtracking. He mentally slapped himself in the face before realizing that his long-ranged attacks would be perfect for distracting the enemies whilst the girls disabled the turrets. So, he set about rearranging himself as to not get shot by the turrets for one, and to prepare his own assault for the second case in point.

With the two front assaulters burnt down to nothing more than smoldering mounds of ash on the ground, one would expect panic to widespread among the base. The soldiers to the side seemed to be especially shaky, but the commander at the back had yet to display any sort of emotion.

"Weaklings have no place in the new world. Pursue your objective, men!" the enigma barked, shaping everyone back to their duty with just her voice.

As the light surrounded Ada, she looked over to her ally and told her, "Thanks, Vook. That really helped." Shortly after her pleasant grin though, she then groaned as she was shot twice. A fury filled her eyes, surprised that the foolish guards refused to stand down.

As a result, a whirlwind of darkness enveloped one of the enemies before spreading off in different directions. If one looked from above, one would see the darkness forming an x pattern. "Well, that wasn't as fun as I expected it to be, but what're ya gonna do?" he muttered to himself.
