For references. (Not asking you guys to read every page, but if you can read the first three, then you'll be more than set to play!)
Here are the rules for comfort's (yours) sake: (READ THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE!)
1. 20 Hours limit between posts. You should post AT LEAST once per day during a mission. If 20 hours pass after your last post and you haven't done anything, I'll simply kill your character and remove them from battle, they'll gain no XP points whatsoever, and they can always rejoin once the current mission ends.
2. Follow the guidelines the GM (Me) sets. If I say to pick a starting point at line J (for example) then don't pick it at A.
3. Pay attention to what happens to your character, and any other character yours is interacting with (Interacting as in, Attacking, Healing, or whatever). To make it easier, just keep your eyes on your character.
4. Don't OOC unless completely necessary.
5. You may post descriptions in your post, they don't have any extra or lesser effect on the mission if you want to write dialogue aside from commands (Moves to, Attacks, Casts, etc.)
6. If the Mission has commenced already, you may NOT join, understood? There will be NO tolerance for people who nag me about entering a mission if they couldn't get in at first.
7. You may parry attacks, but abusing will cause you to get Penalized (EXP or Item fee).
8. Do not edit posts. Unless you made a retarded error, you cannot edit. Also, this will sound subtle, but I better not find an edition before my posts if you want to point out a mistake I made.
9. Don't be an ass. If someone makes a mistake, shut the hell up and let me take care of it. If you see that I'm not doing anything, then feel free to ask or suggest via PM. Don't tell other players what to do, at least not In Game.
10. Have fun! <- Most important rule.
-----------------------
Okay... now, I need to talk about a few implementations I'm going to add to the Game. They work as follows:
- Party Inventory is now useable. This means Consumables (Such as Potions) will be be able to be used at NO COST OF PENALIZATION whatsoever. The Penalization rules with Items does NOT apply anymore, because I've created an extra pad with your current Party Inventory, where I'll keep all the Items the party can use saved, and it'll be held for modification as the missions and markets are played through.
The current inventory is as follows:
Zeny: 400
Potion (Restores 10HP): 2
Red Gem: 0
Yellow Gem: 0
Blue Gem: 0
Item Ticket: 0
Zeny is the currency the Party will use. It'll be used in the Market after every mission (Including Side-Quests) and with it you'll be able to buy new Equipment or Items.
Potions are consumables that can be used with the 'Item' A-Ability. They restore 10 HP per use and once you use one up it's GONE forever from the Party Inventory. They are worth 200 Zenys each in the Market. They can be obtained by opening Mistery Bags and Treasure Chests in Missions.
Gems are special items that can be sold at the market to acquire extra zeny. If you save them up something good will happen! (The values for each Gem are as follows: Red = 100z, Yellow = 500z, Blue = 1000z)
Item Tickets are rare items that can be used to purchase secret items in the Market. If you use an Item Ticket while in the market, a secret item will spawn, and you'll be able to buy it. (Yup! You'll still have to pay for it, sorry!)
- Ranking System. Depending on the group's performance (Aside from the individual performance that rewards you with Level Ups), you all will be awarded with a Rank. You get items and zeny depending on how well you do on a mission. Ranks vary from D to A and if you do EXPECTACULARLY well, you'll be able to obtain the rare S Rank.
To raise Ranks in missions, you'll need to work on these aspects:
Turn Taking until End <- Depends how many overall turns you took to complete the mission.
Item Usage <- The fewer items you use, the higher the rank will be!
Tactics <- If the tactics the party uses impresses me, then your rank will go up!
Special Event <- If there's a [?] in a mission, you'll get bonus points for the Rank if you examine it. If you ignore it, it won't mean anything to the rank, but be careful! A [?] is not always a good thing!
And now, before we start with Mission 01, I'll need you guys to take part in a little poll which we'll hold RIGHT HERE. I'll have it open until tomorrow at some determined, random time. Let me explain, first of all:
Considering the Market will be a place where you'll be able to spend the group's zeny to acquire items and equipments, it'll be tough to decide, since the zeny and gems aren't unlimited (Heck you only start with 400z), so, my question is this. Would you guys want to use the default Democratical style for taking important decisions that WILL OF COURSE affect the game? Or do you want a more Liberal style where EVERY oppinion counts?
Democratical: Everyone votes for something, but only 1 person (The Party leader) will have the final say.
Liberal: Everyone votes for something, majority speaks. If 1 person isn't d'accord with that, sucks to be them.
So, please, choose a style you'll be using. Party Leader or no Party Leader? (I need up to 3 votes to either side to decide).
