Yeah, well... I just kinda felt like posting this because well...I wanna see what people think...Mods/admins, feel free to move this if this doesn't fit the forum.
All you gotta do is post your favorite song's name, band, and lyrics(if possible). Also give a brief reason why it's your favorite song.
Mad World-Michael Andrews and Gary Jules(the original band is Tears for Fears)
All around me are familiar faces.
worn out faces, worn out faces.
Bright and early for the daily races.
Going no where, going no where.
The tears are filling up their glasses.
No expression, no expression.
Hung my head, I wanna drown my sorrows.
No tomorrow, no tomorrow.
And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad.
The dreams in which I'm dieing are the best I've ever had.
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take.
When people run in circles it's a very, very, Mad World.
Mad World.
Children waiting for the day they feel good.
Happy birthday, happy birthday.
I feel the way that every child should,
sit and listen, sit and listen.
Went to school, and I was very nervous.
No-one knew me, no-one knew me.
"Hello teacher, tell me whats my lesson?"
Looked right through me, looked right through me.
And I find it kinda fuuny, I find it kinda sad.
The dreams in which I'm dieing are the best I've ever had.
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take.
When people run in circles, it's a very, very, Mad World.
Mad World.
Enlarging your world.
It's a Mad World...
The reason I liked this song was possibly because it fits my life somewhat perfectly. I feel like the black sheep in the school, slightly misunderstood. Maybe it's because I'm kinda weird and very random.

Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to choose a favorite band, let alone a favorite song? I've got about 400 CD's in my collection. Well, if I absolutely have to choose, I'd say "Have You Ever" by The Offspring:
Falling, I

I know that you saw me.

In empathy."-Rise Against

Alright. I'll post.
Unspoken - Lacuna Coil
Lyrics Wrote:And it doesn't matter
how you feel now, anything at all
Seems to be your only way, so vicious
Heavenly apart
When your envy is on a piece of paper
Let me sweetly smile
You're devouring all the crumbs
I'm leaving caught up in your lies
You're on any other side
Clawing up my eyes
I'm feeling your arms around me
On the other side
It's time to go
I'm hearing your voice
without words
On the other side
But it doesn't matter
how I feel now, anything at all
Since I've left you with the wrong
impression while I'm still the same
When I turn around and look
at my life, shadows in disguise
but I'm working on
an interruption of hypocrisy
You're an any other side
Clawing up my eyes
I'm feeling your arms around me
On the other side, it's time to go
I'm hearing your voice without words
On the other side
Any other side
My reason for it being my favourite? I like the tune for it as well. Also explains Christmas of last year for me with a few of the lines. It also fits my fursona too. Lolz xP
Well.. I have a couple of songs that could be considered my favorite.. one of them seems like it was written about me.. but I don't wanna post that one, because it would sound like I was bragging.. So I'll post this one..
Little Things
by Rodney Carrington.
When I'm sittin on a toilet,
In a house that I don't own..
Lookin all around me
where'd the toilet paper go..?
Feelin real uneasy,
Feelin real uncertain..
Gotta wipe my ass again
with a plastic shower curtain.
Its those little things
Those itty bitty things...
Its those little things like that
that piss me off
When I pick up on a woman,
I take her home to bed..
She takes her clothes off
Gets on her knees and *howls*
I asked her what her name was..
She told me it was Venus..
When I reached down between her legs,
Oh good lord thats
Those little things
Those itty bitty things..
That woman had a big thing
It ain't no little thing
it pissed me off.
speaking: "she had a dick, you understand that?"
As for why its my favorite... It makes me laugh a lot, because I was involved in a situation that was a lot like the second verse.. only I was the "woman" :P

Monster by Disturbed
End this suffering
You made a monster of me
Through all your wicked lies
Forever tortured by you
Abandoned at death's door
Until I said no more
Don't look away
You're just a former regret of mine
And when you want, just look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
You made a rock star of me
Gave me this wicked life
Paid to be tortured by you
A life I now abhor
And still I say, no more
Think over all of the shit in your mind
Think over and come to grip with it
Think over all of the shit in your little twisted sick mind, all said

Right now i'd have to say that my favorite song is Run Away by Linkin Park, with Swing Life Away by Rise Against as a close second. they just go with my life right now.

See, now there's another two bands I like, especially Rise Against. In fact, Rise Against might just be my favorite band, but "Swing Life Away" is one of the few songs of theirs I just don't listen to. I prefer the harder stuff. "Black Masks & Gasoline," "Survive," and "Rumors of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated" are also three of my favorite songs.

I chose "Numb" from Linkin Park, the Meteora album which I consider the best one out of all. Always loved what it significates, and seeing the video, I liked it even more ^^
Lyrics:
Tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless
Lost under the surface
