Vance scuffled around the guards easily and unleashed his chain sickle on the one he was circumventing, the blade easily slashing the guard's side. He wasn't even sure what he was trying to do. Even if they could get these guards out of the way, there was the rather ominous commander, and reinforcements were coming. They had to act fast. Not usually do I worry this much, but this isn't looking so good right now, he thought as he skidded to a halt.

@Shadow: You're calculating the decrease in the Atk stat wrong. It applies to your base Atk, not your buffed Atk. I should've been more clear. In that sense, it's 22/3, in other words, 7.something, it's smaller than .5 though, so it stays as 7. In other words 33 - 7 = 26 is your current Atk. When your buff expires, it'll be 22 - 7 = 15 just for your info.
@John: You can't act and then move, it's the other way around. Once you act, your turn ends. The action stands, but your movement does not, in this case.

Unless, if course, something even worse i's coming... John shuddered at the thought. No more time for faffing around. Using careful precision, he fired at another guard.
