Star Wars Chronicles - Venin - 11-15-2009

Everybody likes Star Wars, right? So I thought I would whip up an RPG of my own based on Star Wars. The story takes place sometime before the KOTOR 1 saga (Knights of the Old Republc,Xbox game). Basically, the main Sith Lords are Darth Revan and Darth Malak, before Revan "disappeared." However, there could be more, depnding on what you are, so anyway, here's the profile layout:

Background: he was recently a Dark Jedi and had been for 2 years, but he has converted to the light, however, he keeps his red lightsaber he use as a Dark Jedi as a reminder of who he once was.
Force Powers: Force Lightning, Force Choke, Force Push, Force Pull, Force Terror (a horrifying mind illusion, normally Sith aren't as affected), Force Scream, Force Lightsaber Throw.

Here's a website for anyone else who wants to join, but isn't very familiar with Star Wars. I myself have not played Knights of the Old Republic, but gosh darn do I love the force! XD

Weapon:

ALIAS (Assassin, Locker, Intelligence, Android, Specialist) - A battle-android built by Jeran when he was a Sith. ALIAS is equipped with advanced hologram technology that, when coupled with its built-in servos, would allow it to change appearance and adopt a wide range of disguises. This coupled with its access to "modules" (Data on Jedi and Sith), allows it to fight as a clone of whoever it has data on. Another of ALIAS' skills was its ability to essentially mimic telekinesis through the use of a series of repulsors and tractor beams built into Its body. Its usage of this equipment was impressive, as it proved able to accurately replicate Force pushes and pulls, and even pull off lightsaber throws. ALIAS is incredibly strong and fast, and provides Jeran with training regiments, data, and companionship, as ALIAS is Jeran's only known friend and confidant. It has Phrik plating, an alloy that can resist lightsabers. ALIAS also carries Jeran's belongings and lightsabers for him. It also carried various crystals and synth-crystals that Jeran used to customize his lightsabers.

ALIAS

Jedi Trophies - Five lightsabers (two green, three blue) that belonged to Jedi he hunted when he was a Sith. Each green lightsaber has a crystal that enhanced his force powers, and each blue lightsaber held a different crystal that enhanced his speed, strength, and a lightsaber's cutting power. These are usually held within ALIAS, and Jeran is proficient enough with the force to use them all simultaneously.

Cortosis Wrist-Blade - On his right wrist is mounted a blade made of purified cortosis, a special metal not only capable of resisting a lightsaber blade, but can deactivate it and render it useless for a few minutes.

Phrik Plating Shinguards - Jeran's shinguards are made of Phrik alloy, which is resistant to lightsabers. He uses them for defense as much as offense, as his fighting style depends on acrobatics and unarmed combat as much as it depends on lightsaber combat.

Dual-Phase Lightsaber - (Green) Strengthened with a Crystal that enhances his force abilities. Its blade's length can be adjusted from one foot, to four feet. It is the lightsaber he was given when he became applicable for a Jedi Consular. Usually wielded in his right hand.

Tonfa-Style Shoto - (Red) Enhanced with a crystal that increases its push-back effect against lightsabers. It is basically a tonfa with short, one foot red beams that ignite from either end. It is always wielded in his right hand, and is use primarily for defense. It was his main weapon when he was a Sith.

Stands at 5'8ft.

Background: He was a born a natural child prodigy in the parched and barren desert planet of Daboru'un. He was abandoned by his parents when he was five years old, in order for them to survive, and was picked up by a Sith Marauder who sensed the force within him. He was taken to his master, and trained in the ways of a Sith. His prowess with the force was feared, so he was only taught how to fight with lightsabers, mastering all seven forms of lightsaber combat, three rare forms, and developing his own form when he was ten. At twelve years old, he started teaching himself how to use force powers, but it caused a strain on his emotional capcaity, often causing him to lose himself in a blind rampage of pain, rage and despair. He had had enough.

He already had five Jedi kills to his name by the age of 14, but finally managed to get the courage to leave his master with the help of his Holodroid, ALIAS. He was found half dead and heavily wounded back in his desert planet, this time by a Jedi Master. Nursed and reeducated, he trained to control his emotions, and started up the path of diplomacy instead of violence. He strove to become a Jedi Consular, and at the age of 15, became the youngest applicant for the Status of Jedi Consular. However, he was sent away to become a Jedi Shadow before he became a consular, and with no master, he became a Gray Jedi, hunting down agents of the dark side. However, instead of hunting them down, he tries to persuade them to join the light side.

Skill wise, he has ludicrous raw force-powers, but almost no control when under emotional strain. He has enough control to telekinetically wield five lightsabers at once with amazing prowess, but loses this ability when under emotional strain. His ability with lightsabers are extremely high, a it is what he has focused on in most of his training. He is easily fazed by "Dum Moch" (...Art of Name Calling. No. Seriously. Look it up! XD), and loses his temper and control. His force powers are considered unstable, to the point where he harms himself when he uses them on occasion. He has many weaknesses, including his naivete, being gullible, having an unstable emotional spectrum, and many fears (which he's trying to control). He's learning how to control his anger and force, as it makes him a hazard to himself and those around him. This is not going very well.

Telekinesis (And all its Sub-Forces. Ex. Force pull, force push, force repulse, force flight, etc)
Shatterpoint (The ability to find weak spots to destroy seemingly indestructible things by applying force to it.)
Combustion (Combustion was the Force ability that allowed users to cause an object explode by sheer force of will. It was rarely used on a person, and the effects on inanimate objects and persons was devastating. Depending on the size, density and vulnerability of the object in question, combustion would become harder or easier to use successfully.)
Force Maelstrom (Mixed. The user creates a protective bubble of force around himself, then pulls everything within a certain radius around himself, swirling them around as if they were caught in a vortex before the user would devastate the objects by blasting them away, in a surge of Force Lightning and Force Repulse.)
Force Drain (Dark side. The ability to tap into an individual or a group's force or life, draining it to make it the user's own.)
Force Destruction (Dark side. Force Destruction was a dark side Force power used by certain gifted Sith and Dark Jedi, allowing them to create a massive energy field and throw it in any direction. When used, a massive amount of energy was stored up within the user, drawn from the dark side of the Force, and with incredible concentration, the energy could be discharged using the user's own body as a conduit. Usually fired through the arm or hand, it could blast a large radius vaporizing anyone who got too near it. Even those who escaped direct contact with the blast would be pushed asunder by the power's backlash. Using Force Destruction was a very exhausting power requiring a great deal of focus and concentration and could only be used a few times without requiring the user to rest.)
Ray (Light side. Ray was a Force technique used by Jedi skilled in energy manipulation. By managing this power, a Jedi could turn small amounts of nearby matter into energy that could be controlled.)

Role: Smuggler

Weapons: Two Semi-Automatic pistol-type slugthrowers, one revolver-type slugthrower, and one pump action shotgun slugthrower(look it up, I did). Added to this small arsenal is his naturally resiliant claws, which are semi-retractable and suprisingly tough.

Description:

Background: a jack of all trades for the seedy underbelly of the outer rim, he's seen or done it all. Smuggled spice, slaves, weapons, evaded the law, worked as a mercenary and a bounty hunter, and stolen more ships than he can recall. Holds a firm belief that a well-made slugthrower will outgun any laser blaster or lightsaber in the known universe, he keeps a small arsenal of them on him at all times.

A Crossbreed, he's a natural misfit, even within his own kind. But the naturally sharp senses of his parents races, along with their dexterity, makes him hard to target and even harder to kill.

His current ship is a YT-1930 Light Freighter( http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YT-1930 ) he christened "Hellfire". Cargo Manifest shows a highly illegal blend of Spice, Weapons, and various other things considered illegal. One has to wonder who ordered all of these things...

Force Powers: unknown, if any. Some suggest he's force sensitive, due to the extreme accuracy he boasts with his slugthrowers.

Weapons: palm-mounted EM Field generator in her bionic arm, and a Medium Laser Cannon, modified into a "BFG", or BIG FUCKING GUN.

Rank: Co-Pilot/Mechanic

Background: one of Cowboy's friends from his childhood, she followed him eagerly when he was looking for a co-pilot for his freighter, purely on the promises of "seeing the universe, and adventure". She's had her fair share of adventure, even losing her left arm when a Spice Run went bad. Feeling bad about it, Cowboy financed her bionic replacement, even fitting it with an EM Field Generator to disable droids and surveillance equipment.

A rough tomboy at best, people often think she's a pushover just because of her pink fur. A mistake most people only make once. She can fight with the best of them, it's needless to say.

She's currently employed as the co-pilot and mechanic aboard the Hellfire.

Weapon(s): Two custom black lightsabers with custom force power crystals increasing his force ability by 10 fold

Abilities: A master of lightsaber combat and the Dark Side of the Force.

Force powers: Force Lighting/malestorm, Force Death, Force Insanity, Force Scream/Warcry, mind trick, force heal and Force Drain

Other: Rather weak in every force power other then force lightning, Death, and Insanity. But he makes up in his shear amazing use of his lightsabers (The only reason why he's strong in force is due to the sabers take them away ad he's powerless.)

Background: Growing up on a peaceful planet of Naboo he lived with his whole family. Growing up there was always a small skirmish of Rebels moving trough the area, but one day the Mandalorian army came by and engaged them in a fire fight. His parents where the ones who reported the small squads so they were taken out. as his parents hid him away he watched the rebels shot his whole family down heartlessly. after the Mandalorians won the squads moved in and collected the boy and later after a long series of test the Sith found out that he was strong in the force, the boy seeking revenge embraced the powers of the dark side swearing to destroy every last rebel scum.

Measurements: 7 1/2 inchs long 2 1/2 girth.

IC: Lloyd focused. His eyes were closed whilst several training droids surrounded him, waiting for him to make a move. Lloyd stayed in his meditative position for a few moments and then...opened his eyes and drew his lightsabers. The lightsabers hummed as they were pointed at various droids.

"Training start!" Lloyd commanded as he jumped to avoid the droids laser fire. Avoiding or deflecting every laser that flew at him, he sliced each droid one by one until they all were cut in half by the burning sabres.

The lightsabers made a retracting sound and Lloyd put them in his belt.
"Man, I don't see why I can't train with another Jedi. These droids are getting pretty boring." The council would not let Lloyd train with another person because they do not have full trust in him.

"So I was converted from the dark side, that shouldn't mean I'm too unpredictable to train with. Ah well, whatever the council says goes, I guess. I mean, they didn't have to take me back, so I really shouldn't complain." Lloyd went to his quarters and sat criss-cross on the bed.

"I need to get this stress off of me." He said as he closed his eyes and meditated, waiting for the next event to unfold.

Cowboy's light freighter, Hellfire, landed quietly in a hangerbay on a planet he wasn't told the name to. All he was given was coordinates and a shipping manifest. All the items to go on his ship were highly illegal, and his ship was one of the fastest and most heavily armed since the legendary Millenium Falcon.

In all actuality, this wasn't the first Hellfire. It was the sixth. He lost the first five Hellfires to various things, from sabotage, to pirates, to simple age of the airframes. But this one was by far his most favorite. This one actually survived six months of use.

Cowboy stepped out of his vessel, into the unknown hanger bay, followed closely by his Cyborg co-pilot, Gears. Only Cowboy knew her real name, and she'd rip his arm off and beat him to death with it if he uttered it in her presence. She adopted the name Gears after the unfortunate circumstances where she lost her arm.

The two watched the labor droids go about their work, loading crates into the highly modified vessel, and refueling it for it's trip to another unnamed planet.

"...so, where to now?" Gears asked, turning to Cowboy.

"...coordinates are deep in Sith Space, so I have no clue. I just wanna get this shipment to them, get paid, and get out." Cowboy replied, thumbing the hilt of his slugthrower quietly.

"...lovely." She sighed, "another suicide run...if you make me lose an arm again, you're gonna be paying more than credits for it."

Cowboy chuckled to himself, "now, you know you like the toy I bought you..."

Darth Ferrus contacted Brandon on a small device. "Brandon Hayley, By now you should of received the goods I requested." He paused for a moment before speaking again. "I'm sure you know the planet... Tairs... I am on a planet not to far off from it. I'll update your coordinates now." As he says he dose so and without a goodbye he cuts the com-link, he looks at his Starship a Scimitar (Sith Infiltrator) which seemed slightly bruised up, his ship needed repairs and he did not have the parts to do so. what was worse his 3C-FD, his astrodroid. It was servery damaged and was whining for repairs which it desperately needed. He walked over to it and patted its large 'head' "It's okay Rouge, Your repairs are on its way." Standing by his ship, waiting.
