Quote:my favorites areYes, because it's so rare to hear Linkin Park in an anime fan-made video. Linkin Park would be so much better without all the suburban goth kids who think they can relate and a lead singer (by which I mean Chester, not Mike) who wasn't just trying to pander to them. Yes, Chester has the voice, but this year's album proves that Mike is the one with real lyrical talent. "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" could've been the best song of 2004 (though it became a hit in 2005) had not a generation stripped it of all meaning by singing along at drinking parties and hair salons. To the majority of other songs posted recently, the appeal of country music is lost on me. Where's the bass, the electric distortion, the riffs, the drums, belted words, and everything awesome about music? It's not there, and the lyrics just about always suck too. RE: Whats your favorite song? - UnknownH - 07-23-2007 I've always hated country music. But I live in the country. So that explains it. And what's with all the emo in AMVs? Pick different songs people! I do have one that may actually work. But it's not actually anime. And I agree with the Weird Al comment. RE: Whats your favorite song? - Frisk E. Coyote - 07-24-2007 "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" is one of my all-time favorites! Well, someone already posted it, so I see no reason to repost. Listen to the beginning part, and then listen to The Who's "Who Are You?" Listen to the rest of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," and then listen to Oasis's "Wonderwall." RE: Whats your favorite song? - UnknownH - 07-24-2007 Really? You sure about that? How did you figure it out. It's a interesting fun fact. RE: Whats your favorite song? - Wisemon - 07-25-2007 I knew a guitar player in college who figured out the "Wonderwall" connection pretty quickly and was able to play both songs with very little extra effort. As I understand it, it's actually one of the simplest songs possible to play on an acoustic guitar. RE: Whats your favorite song? - Disturbed - 07-25-2007 Disturbed's trademark song Down with the Sickness. I know a guy who had the album version, but he muted the song during the bridge because he was so, well, disturbed by it.
