My big fat Canadian wedding - Zephyr of Darkness - 02-11-2007

I always knew I am a very unhappy person. And I always knew there are tons of people out there that are able to be happy with very small things, but this one takes the cake.
Remember the Aspen reviews, my fave radio giving specials of a certain singer/group every month? As a birthday gift, this month the singer is not a cool one, but Bryan Adams. I had no intention of listening to anything about him, but I turned on the radio for a while, just out of boredom. Have you seen when you have something on, and you're not listening, but something suddenly draws your attention? That happened to me.
The guy in charge always asks about what do we like, and how we met the singer of the month. So he got an e-mail that read (I got it half-way; like I said, I wasn't listening close):
".....my dream has been to walk in a beach with Bryan Adams. And I always wished he was there the day of my wedding. Marrying him would be too much, but I always wished he was there the day I would marry. And you know what? He did. As an opening song for my wedding, instead of the typical marriage song, I had ((insert a Bryan Adams' song name I don't know)). So my dream became true. He WAS there the day of my wedding!!!!!"
The mail ended there.

I'm guessing it wasn't "Summer of '69."

LOL, no, it wasn't. I only know it wasn't any of the most famous ones, which are the only I know.

Ugh, Bryan Adams. The king of exceptionally (and inappropriately) tight black t-shirts.

That woman was extremely lame, going for the whole "because one of his songs was played at my wedding, he was there" philosophy. Guess what, lady? If I have a recording of Luciano Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma playing in the background doesn't mean that he's chilling out in my dorm room with me.

Yeah...... Reminds me of a joke I heard. Although instead of a wedding, it involved a funeral.

What's wrong with Bryan Adams? Born in the USA doesn't sound that bad, and I'm not a fan of oldies.

Dunno, I get confused easily. That's gotten me in problems before.

*Concert ends with 'Start me up'*

DMX: GO BEATLES! *Raises fist*

*Silence shrouds the whole concert*

Mick Jagger: Guys.

*The other Rolling Stones draw guns and smgs out of their pockets and all point at DMX*

DMX: *Looks at Mick, then at the guns, then at Mick again* Sorry John didn't mean to confuse you. Now if you'll excuse me, *Runs away*

It's a good thing you didn't do that. Mick jagger only stopped doing drugs because they're too weak for him.

That sounds remarkably like a Chuck Norris joke.
