IC: Flynn followed behind Jade, Shadow and Ada, his tail wagging as he approached the old man. "I've never been on a boat before. I hope we don't have to row. I'm not sure I'd be any sort of good at that."

"I can't believe they'd even have boats." Shadow said walking up next to Mr. Feltburn and looking at the old boat, "Or that they'd be so rickety looking. You sure these things can even float?"
Silver walked up on the other side of Mr. Feltburn, thinking the same as she looked at the boats, Why would they have boats? Don't they have a road up to the castle? She looked around at the other kids, Everyone looks young, are these only the first years? Maybe the second too, but no one looks old enough to be past fourth year at the most. Wonder where they are?

Jade smiled at Flynn "I've been in one of these little boats before, but it was a muggle one, with a motor engine." She giggled slightly "I doubt I can row either..."

Flynn examined the rickety looking boats. "Well, holes or no, I wouldn't say that they'd ferry the first year students across a lake if it wasn't safe. Probably some kind of buoyancy charm or something." He put a footpaw experimentally in one boat and put his weight on it. It didn't wobble, even a little bit. He stood in it, both footpaws. "I'd say it's safe." He jumped a few times and the boat barely budged. He looked back at the others, a little self-conscious that they were looking at him. "Going to join me?"
